Bookkeeper

Based in West London, our specialist client seeks a Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a Level 3 AAT or qualified accountant with relevant experience.

The company is a well-established £15M turnover business that is close to securing PE/VC funding which will help to continue the growth plans for the future.

The successful individual will be a Xero certified user with Excel pivot table experience. They will have high level accuracy and be a confident communicator. For this role you will need to be organised and deadline oriented with a hands on and analytical mindset.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain the accounts' payable and receivable ledgers ensuring accurate recording and processing of transactions
• To reconcile Balance Sheet Control Accounts
• Reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable each month, including the preparation of quarterly reports
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Compile and post Sales and Purchase Invoices
• Ownership for accounting deadlines
• Undertake daily bank reconciliations on all bank accounts.
• Process and post monthly petty cash and credit card expenditure journals.
• Communication with company accountants
• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Undertake ad hoc project work when required
