Business Support Officer

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a recognised Public Sector organisation in Northern Ireland who are seeking a Business Support Officer within planning and building control.

The role will consist of:

• Answer inquiries from various sources.
• Provide advice and assistance to the public and other agencies.
• Handle correspondence and maintain records.
• Help with marketing and website updates.
• Manage information systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and transcribe interviews.
• Assist in meetings and report production.
• Aid officers in report completion.
• Manage office systems and information flow.
• Handle finances, including payments and petty cash.
• Monitor inventory and purchase orders.
• Contribute to policy development.
• Provide cover for duties when needed.
• Stay updated on relevant practices and services.

The Person:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE passes.
• Effective use of computerised information management systems.
• Qualification that demonstrates competency, working with Office Technology e.g. Typewriting.
