Rose street garden, award winning street food cocktail bar is on the look out for an experienced Chef de Partie for season (from end of April till end August). We are an fun and energetic team bringing street food style dishes from around the world. We are known for our innovative specials to match our vibrant cocktails. Last orders for kitchen is 6:45pm so no late finishes.
The main duties of the role are
- Preparation of food for every service to ensure dishes are prepared in a safe, compliant & timely manner
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous chef with Specials
- Monitoring and recording of wastage as well as coming up with ideas to keep it to a minimum
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous chef to maintain good stock rotation and exemplary kitchen cleanliness
- Work efficiently on designated section of the kitchen
Experience of at least 2 years in the kitchen in similar standard of street food would be desireable for this role but there is plenty of potential to develop within the growing company if the applicant shows the desire and commitment to progress.
