Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, exceptional culinary skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development
- Oversee and participate in the cooking and presentation of dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant's standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
