SalaryUnited Agents Ltd (UA) is one of London’s leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre, and comedy. We are recruiting a Client Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts department.
Key responsibilities
Working within a small team processing all client payments for a number of Actors agents you will be responsible for:
- Processing all monies in various currencies and allocating to the client’s accounts, deducting commission for both us and third-party agents.
- Twice weekly payment runs (both BACS and cheque) and sending client remittances to both clients and accountants Making international/BACS and CHAPS payments via an online banking system.
- Bank Reconciliations – Sterling/Dollar/Euro Raising VAT invoices and chasing VAT payments on behalf of clients.
- Dealing with telephone queries from clients/accountants/production companies/theatres.
- Client recharges Providing relevant account information to client’s accountants
- Journal Postings using SUN account for corrections/bill payments
- Liaising with agents/assistants with regards to incoming monies and commission splits Updating the client database with new addresses/bank details/VAT numbers/accountant details.
- Knowledge of SUN accounting is desirable
- Competence in Excel essential
- Good communication skills are essential
