Commercial Property Administrator

An exceptional opportunity has become available for a Property Administrator looking to develop their property career and specialise within Commercial Property.

This role will suit an individual currently working within residential or Commercial Property administration, perhaps within lettings or an estate agency, who is hungry to develop and achieve more. Specific Commercial Property experience is not essential for this position, but what is essential is a passion for the property sector, coupled with current/previous property administration experience, and an ambition to move your career forward, providing efficient administration support to the team.

Financial administration experience would also be beneficial, as you will need a keen eye to detail and accuracy when dealing with numerical data and information.

Working for a highly reputable and successful organisation that covers commercial surveying, facilities management, estate management, and finance, you will be part of the commercial surveying team, focusing on Business Rates and Property Management.

Your role will involve supporting the Surveyors with various administration tasks and responsibilities, including

• Updating internal property databases and spreadsheets
• Keeping tenancy schedules up to date
• Lease administration
• Checking invoices are correct and sign off accordingly, an chasing payments
• Contacting local authorities in relation to invoice amendments and any disputed invoice queries regarding Business Rates, and setting up any necessary payment plans
• Corresponding with local authorities via letter, email and telephone to update on occupants and vacant units
• Producing Business Rates savings reports for the Rating Surveyor
• Document and data management on all rating and property management matters, including occupier leases and occupancy details

Basic salary is up to c£27,000 DOE.
