Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Contracts Administrator on a 12 Month FTC for our client based in the heart of Glasgow.
Typically, you will be working Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm or 9am-5pm) office based. A flexible and hybrid approach will be implemented after probationary period.
Main duties and responsibilities are:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to explore the most cost-effective solutions for sourcing a variety of technical products and services.
- Coordinate all agreements and key decisions with Contract Managers, Contract and Vendor Management Manager, and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Aid Contract Managers in negotiating and overseeing contracted suppliers for equipment and services, in consultation with other functional owners.
- Support the department in negotiating with purchases.
- Assist in departmental reporting and data analysis.
- Maintain and distribute reports assessing supplier relationships and management.
- Monitor and manage supplier quality and standards, in collaboration with other departments.
- Assist in research on products and equipment.
- Conduct necessary market studies or research.
Key attributes and skills:
- Extensive administration knowledge on Excel and Microsoft packages.
- Analytical, problem solving, time management and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to respond positively to stakeholders in an effective manner.
- Previous experience within Procurement or Contract Coordination is essential for this role.
