Corporate M&A Associate

A Top 200 renowned AMLaw law firm committed to fostering diverse perspectives and promoting a culture of inclusion, seeks a talented mid-level associate to join their thriving, nationally ranked corporate practice group in the Washington, DC office.
As part of the dynamic corporate team, the ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in M&A transactions, joint ventures, and debt and equity finance. They will thrive working collaboratively on deal teams of varying sizes and have a proven ability to coordinate extensively with specialists.
The DC corporate group specializes in mid-market M&A transactions, joint ventures, and debt and equity finance across diverse industries, including beverage & food, lodging and hospitality, digital media, banking and financial services.
The ideal candidate:

• 3-5 years experience with middle market M&A deals, joint ventures, debt and equity finance.
• Comfort working in a team environment on a variety of deals.
• Drafting principal transaction documents, ancillaries, and resolutions.
• Dedication to high quality work.
• Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in DC (or eligible to waive into the DC bar).

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, adept at distilling complex concepts into targeted and commercially focused written and oral communications. They must demonstrate dedication to delivering high-quality work, responsiveness, and efficiency.
The firm is offering a competitive base salary range of $230,000 to $295,000.
