As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the credit and collections process. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing credit risk, establishing credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to credit management.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Assessment - Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through comprehensive financial analysis. Establish and review credit limits based on financial data, payment history, and market trends.Credit Control - Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure compliance with credit terms and conditions. Implement credit control procedures to minimise overdue payments and reduce credit risk. Collaborate with the sales team to address credit-related issues and establish effective communication channels.Collections - Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to facilitate the timely collection of outstanding payments. Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes promptly, maintaining a positive customer relationship. Implement collection strategies to reduce aging accounts receivable and minimise bad debt exposure.Reporting and Analysis - Prepare and present regular reports on the credit portfolio, aging receivables, and key performance indicators to management. Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.About You:
