Adele Carr Recruitmentare proud to be representing an expanding service provider business based in Knowsley who are looking to appoint an accounts payable manager to join their fast paced finance team.
What you'll be doing:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will manage all aspects of the purchase ledger function, working closely with our Finance Apprentice.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately with correct VAT, CIS information
- Reconcile Statements
- Proactively action and respond to queries via email, telephone
- Set up banking payment runs in preparation for authorisation process
- Create draft payment runs for approval
- Complete new supplier account forms for approval and input in finance system
- Manage supplier accounts and credit limits
- Review supplier information regularly to ensure accuracy
- Collate supplier payment information for operational information
- Expense and mileage processing
- Point of contact for all supplier accounts, invoices, expenses, credit card transactions
- Support other members of the finance team
What you'll need:
- Ability manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Confident communication skills with clients, customers and senior management
- Excellent MS excel, word
- Knowledge of Simpro, Xero advantageous
- Driving Licence is preferable
- AAT or QBE
- CIS Experience would be a bonus
