Credit Controller
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Salary: £24k + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
The Client:
Our client is a well-established automotive firm, supplying the full range of commercial trucks, used trucks, trailers and vans and provide outstanding service to their customers.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will oversee customer accounts through phone, email, and letter ensuring adherence to agreed-upon timelines.
Responsibilities:
* Clean historical debts, including high-value invoices.
* Ensure prompt and accurate allocation of customer payments.
* Recommend legal proceedings against customers when necessary.
* Monitor and manage current and overdue debt on the sales ledger.
* Generate ad-hoc reports for customers.
* Log all customer queries onto the relevant IT system.
* Monitor credit limits and request new limits as required.
* Perform other ad-hoc basic account duties as needed.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
* Outstanding skills in building relationships.
* Capability to operate independently.
