Your new company
Your new employer will be a world-renowned manufacturer of specialist products across the globe. To enhance their Finance team further, they're seeking a Credit Controller to own and control the Ledger, working in a proactive Finance team to expedite the payment of invoices. The role is operated on site 5 days a week.
Your new role
As a Credit Controller in this fast-paced organisation, you'll be controlling the Ledger and working with customers to ensure the timely payment of invoices within agreed terms, and any debt will be approached with customers to ensure a suitable resolution, including companies within the construction field, so a knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) would be advantageous. The role will be handling multi-currency transactions within a diverse range of businesses and will have a high proportion of query resolutions. Within this role you will also be responsible for assisting in cash allocation across the business, posting of invoices to the system, raising applications for payment, holding regular review meetings with managerial staff and any other tasks necessary to facilitate maintaining a clean and accurate sales & retention ledger.
What you'll need to succeed
The Manager of this role is keen to add a proactive, confident Credit Controller to their team who will take control of the Ledger and reduce debt by liaising with customers, setting clear plans and applying Credit Control techniques and processes. Ideally, they're looking for an individual with knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), therefore having previous operations within the construction or manufacturing fields would be preferable. Experience with multi-currency transactions would also be a benefit.
