Are an experienced researcher and analyst, with an innate sense of curiosity about what drives and motivates people?
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Customer Insight Officer to join The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR). This is an exciting role that offers the chance to grow and develop the organisation’s understanding of its members, as well as actively seeking additional opportunities to include member views and feedback in all that we do.
Reporting into the Communications and Brand Manager, you will lead on all member focused insight and research activity for the RCR. You will be an experienced researcher and analyst, driven by an interest in understanding and interpreting customer behaviour, with a meticulous eye for detail and an ability to translate complex data into meaningful actions. You will interrogate and interpret RCR member data to propose solutions to challenges, and build partnerships both internally and externally, confident in applying insight to communications and engagement activity and evaluating success and effectiveness.
This is a great time to join the RCR – with exciting work happening across the organisation, identifying and sharing the input and feedback of our members has never been more crucial.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the monthly RCR insight panel, including recruitment to the panel, planning of content, data collection design and reporting of findings.
- Act as data champion for the Marketing and Digital team in cross-organisational activity.
- Manage the biennial membership survey, working collaboratively with any suppliers and teams across the RCR to craft the survey, engage members and shape the analysis.
- Provide expert advice, support and guidance for all ad-hoc member engagement research conducted by the RCR.
- Lead on all market research relating to members across the RCR, providing analysis and actionable insights based on business and strategic priorities.
- Undertake analysis and work with colleagues to build a robust understanding the behaviours of our members.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of contributing to shaping business activities, communications and engagement priorities based on robust data.
- Experience of gathering and critiquing information, and of analysing complex data to produce concise and clear reports and papers for a variety of audiences.
- Experience of building effective networks and of liaising and working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Good problem-solving skills, able to look at a question from all perspectives.
If you are looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your skills and grow your expertise in a charitable organisation with a great cause and ambitious goals, please find out more about the Customer Insight Officer role, the RCR and how to apply by visiting the RCR website and reading the candidate pack.
