Delivery Manager (Uksv)

Would you be interested working as part of our Agile Delivery team, helping to develop products and services that streamlines the process of gaining clearance for national security projects throughout the government?

Within UK Security Vetting (UKSV), we are undergoing a digital transformation project, where you will be at the centre point of security for the United Kingdom, helping to build modern solutions that underpins national security risk assessments in around 130 organisations. This opportunity will allow you to work on brand new approaches to vetting, streamline processes that affect all areas of the UK government and contribute ideas across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases of development.

As a Delivery Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of products and services that sit at the core of our new security clearance products and services. You will collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to enable development teams to deliver products and features aligned to business priorities. You will support the transition away from legacy systems and, with security and architecture colleagues, ensure we appropriately secure our data assets

Duties will include but are not limited to

• Build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating , engaged and working well
• Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them
• Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team
• Coach and mentor both team members and others to apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques
