Job description

We're searching for a dynamic Head of Talent (HR) Retail to drive our Talent Retail efforts for our rapidly growing team. You'll lead and develop our retail-focussed Talent teams across EMEA, AMER, and APAC, foster relationships with senior leadership members, implement innovative Talent Retail approaches, and leverage data-driven insights to revolutionize our practices. If you're ready to make a profound impact and champion our employer brand, join us in shaping the future of Talent Retail at On.
Your Mission
- You will be responsible for our Talent Retail endeavors across the globe (EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions), and collaborate with regional Talent and COE leaders to drive our organizational priorities forward, foster a comprehensive understanding of our objectives, and empower the team to excel in all facets of our retail business from a Talent perspective.
- You will manage, coach, influence, and develop an interdisciplinary and growing team in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Business Partnering, Talent Lifecycle, and Learning & Development, specifically for our Retail environment.
- You will be responsible for translating On's culture, philosophies, and ways of working into the rapidly growing retail world and creating a Talent Retail strategy to achieve our Retail business objectives.
- You will be building strong relationships with our Senior Leadership Group across all business functions; guiding them to adopt best practices and will act as their strategic thought partner to ensure we scale our operations in the right way.
- You will collaborate as part of the Talent Leadership group to define our people agenda across all regions and functions, thinking beyond Talent Retail.
Your Story
- You are a real expert in the Talent Retail field, you've worked in the area for at least 10 years - and you have a deep understanding of the practice
- You have experience scaling teams globally in an environment of increased complexity with a strong retail component
- Strong leadership skills with at least 10 years of experience leading global high-performing teams across different regions - a conscious leader with the vision required to manage a large team, you inspire the trust and respect of everyone around you
- Focused on high-impact results, you know that the best way to solve problems is with practicality and logic. You bring a track record of project management on a global scale
- You thrive when you don't have all the answers; you work tirelessly and autonomously in order to turn ideas into reality
- Able to make even the most complex problems easy to understand, your real talent lies in the creation of simple, impactful solutions
- Even in the most ambiguous situation, you make educated decisions, using data to identify the root cause of a problem before creatively and efficiently identifying the solutions with the biggest possible impact
- You're passionate about finding new ways to innovate, optimize, and increase efficiency
- Truly business savvy, you quickly understand and navigate risks and opportunities. You have a track record of successfully aligning the Talent Retail function with business objectives and have directly contributed to the growth of the organization by fostering relationships with key stakeholders and adapting recruitment strategies to address specific business needs
- Your forte is building lasting relationships, a skill that comes in very handy when it comes to managing the expectations of a variety of stakeholders. You are able to see the bigger picture and understand how Talent Retail works within the broader landscape of the Retail environment, the Talent Team, and On as a company
Meet The Team
Being part of the talent team at On means consistently questioning the status quo. We don't do things just because they are what "HR does". We build, grow, enable, and empower the team to drive the future of On. Because this is what matters to us. Because we are On.
What We Offer
On is a place that is centered around growth and progress. We offer an environment designed to give people the tools to develop holistically - to stay active, to learn, explore and innovate. Our distinctive approach combines a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere, with access to personal self-care for both physical and mental well-being, so each person is led by purpose.
On is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating a work environment that is fair and inclusive, where all decisions related to recruitment, advancement, and retention are free of discrimination.
