We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support our EHS team by completing admin duties and supporting the ongoing streamlining of processes. This position will be extremely varied with the successful candidate supporting with EHS reporting, supporting the management of the Head office and day to day facilities requirements and supporting other elements such as Occupational Health and Claims.
This position will be based at our UK Head Office Building in Solihull a minimum 3 days week
About the Role
- Reporting to the EHS & Facilities Manager UK & Ireland and supporting our two TruckForce EHS co-ordinators to provide a safe and good place to work.
- To be the key contact for facilities in our UK Head Office, ensuring all queries are resolved using our CAFM logging system. Working with facilities management provider to ensure building is secure, clean, and compliant with safety requirements and following up with our provider on a weekly basis to ensure completion of tasks.
- To order equipment for the offices and manage the purchase orders and invoicing process.
- Creating EHS weekly reports for the business, updating safety databases and ensuring accurate and robust maintenance of records.
- Maintaining our EHS & Facilities SharePoint site.
- Supporting the team to organise training courses, accommodation and recording EHS training appropriately.
- Share communications with the wider business on behalf of the EHS & Facilities Manager.
- To organise and work with 3rd party supplier to ensure Health Surveillance is completed for our associates.
Experience, Skills & Education
Essential:
- Previous experience in an administration role or facilities assistance role
- An understanding of what the Health, Safety and Environment team are responsible for and understanding of Facilities/Office Management.
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Problem solving ability.
- Self-motivated
- The ability to prioritise and organize task.
- Flexible to change.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Be self-motivated to work alone, but also able to work in a team.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and a focus on task completion
- General education equivalent to GCSE’s grading between A-C
Desired:
- Ideally experience would be in a health and safety compliance or facilities role.
- Understanding of basic EHS legislation.
- Ability to evaluate and relate relevant information,
- Previous experience in using Health and safety software systems or CAFM systems.

- General education equivalent to A Levels
