About The Role
Home of the CUPRA Brand in top cities worldwide – Manchester is the next iconic hotspot on the CUPRA map. The City Garage space merges Brand experience and sales processes. It includes Music, Food, Lifestyle & CUPRA Products and events.
This exciting new retail format will effectively blend new car retail with powerful market activations making CUPRA Manchester the place to be – with an action packed monthly activation plan including music events, talks, and showroom events.
As the flagship physical presence for CUPRA in the UK, City Garage will be judged through the dual lens of both commercial performance and integration into the culture of the city itself.
The Events and Operations Manager is the vital link between the Retailer Investor, the Brand and the local culture, creating unique and memorable experiences in the centre of Manchester. You will develop and maintain the necessary relationships to create an engaging and dynamic in-City store on a daily basis, and will deliver against activation targets set, managing not only the physical environment of the store, but also its Events and resources to deliver engaging customer experiences in a unique CUPRA way.
You will collaborate with other brand teams to act as a light-house for initiatives that further utilise the physical space including but not limited to virtual showroom handling and digital hardware and creative tests.
You will play an active role in the International CUPRA City Garage community, including monthly exchange between City Garage Managers (Events and Operations Managers), PR Managers of all the City Garages worldwide and CUPRA HQ to plan global events for City Garages and share best practices.
- Strong data and analytics
- Relationship building and collaboration - working with the Brand Analytics Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive measurement framework of commercial performance, Customer Experience (CX) and brand metric variables to performance-manage the facility activation
- In-depth knowledge and expereince of the Manchester city culture
- A proven track-record for activating a brand(s) within this environment
