Hays are working alongside a reputable and growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking for an Executive Assistant to the MD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant on a permanent basis looking for a new challenge.
Your new role
As an Executive Assistant to the MD this role is crucial in ensuring efficient and smooth operations within the organisation. You would provide high-level administrative support to the MD, managing their schedule, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
As an Executive Assistant your role will involve; m anaging professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics. Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executives
Duties will also involve:
Supporting the Managing Director & providing support to the executive team as directed to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently. Conserve executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analysing information; and initiating telecommunications. Maintaining the MDs appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. Organise and support all-company events. Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with other staff on various projects and tasks. Minute taker / Administrator at senior management team meetings and routine sales meetings. Support on co-ordination of sales tenders internally. Support HR Manager in confidential HR administration. Welcome guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing enquiries. Prepare reports by collecting and analysing information. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Provide historical reference by developing and utilising filing and retrieval systems and recording meeting discussions.
