Executive Assistant to the MD

Major Recruitment are working in partnership Polytec, a leading automotive manufacturer, to recruit an Executive Assistant to the MD on a permanent basis based in Telford.
As an Executive Assistant to the MD you will play a pivotal part in supporting the MD day to day, providing excellent organisational support. You will need to have exceptional Microsoft Office skills, be organised and flexible.
Key Responsibilities of an Executive Assistant to MD:
- Forward-looking support for the MD in day-to-day business activities.
- Participation in the development of strategic decision documentation as well as independent
coordination and implementation of cross-departmental projects.
- Researching, analysing and preparing data for decision-making internally and to the Group Board.
- Planning and coordination of meetings and workshops.
- Interface to internal and external stakeholders, nationally and internationally as necessary.
- Formulation of Management Reporting Documentation Data to the UK and Group including in depth
- Presentations and graphical information, executive reports, letters etc.
- Managing the scheduling of agendas, mail, emails, calls, travel arrangements, and more.
- The organisation of customer and visitor meetings, support with Action progress review and capture.
- The organisation of any major internal meetings as required.
- Supporting communication between stakeholders, executives, and their wider teams.
- Organising team events, receiving customers, and ensuring safety measures are met.
Skills required to be a successful Executive Assistant to the MD:
- Professional Qualification (Desirable).
- Experience of providing executive support at a senior level.
- Excellent working experience and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office packages to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- SAP User experience (desirable).
- Proven ability to handle information professionally and confidentially, with the upmost discretion.
- Ability to work in an assertive and flexible manner.
- A demonstrated understanding of business strategy.
- Confidence to constructively challenge.
- Goal-oriented, results orientated and structured way of working.
- Professional communication and correspondence.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Great rapport building skills, to build strong relationships with the executive team.
