SalaryDivision of a Business Services Group based in Ryde, Isle of Wight, has an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will work closely alongside the Management Accountant and join an existing team of 4.
What will the Finance Assistant opportunity involve?
- Assisting with accounts payable during periods of holiday cover, including payment runs
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with month end including prepayments/accruals
- Assisting with VAT returns
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
- Varied accounts experience including purchase ledger, sales ledger and management accounts exposure
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Sage experience would be beneficial but not essential
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Assistant:
- The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful applicant expected to attend the office a minimum of two days a week following a training period
