About the role:

We are recruiting a Finance Business Partner within our Finance Division at NFU Mutual. The role is within Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). You will be analysing complex data and working with internal stakeholders to build relationships, challenge assumptions and understand performance.
This role is a unique opportunity to understand our core performance metrics and facilitate key commercial decision making. You will also develop an understanding of the wider economic environment and apply this knowledge to our performance results.

FP&A is one of the most exciting areas in Finance; you’ll get the chance to look ahead and influence the future of the business, working with a wide variety of stakeholders, building a network so you’ll gain a better understanding of what’s going on across the business and the key challenges we might need to face into, as well as the opportunities on the horizon. You can really make a difference in this role if you have a good sense of commercial acumen, every day is different.

About you:

You’ll have Business Partnering experience, with the ability to step away from numbers and tell the story of our performance to stakeholders. You’ll also have technical knowledge and strong excel skills, enjoy networking and have the confidence to challenge and ask questions to understand the story behind our performance numbers. At the core of this role is the ability to partner with parts of the business so must be confident in stakeholder management, including senior stakeholders, and demonstrate confidence in your ability to engage, influence and communicate.

To join our team, it’s essential that you have:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grades A - C, including Maths and English.
• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience of managing financial information and planning, ideally within a financial
• services organisation.
• Demonstrated financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting,
• with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to gather and analyse internal and external data from a wide range of sources in
• order to drive commercial insight
