Role: Financial Controller – Leading Marketing Services Agency

Paying £75,000 – 80,000 + Bonus & Benefits

TalentEdge are currently partnering with an award winning Marketing Services Agency who are recruiting for a German Speaking Financial Controller to join their already established senior finance team and help drive their continued growth.

Additionally, you will spearhead proactive efforts to enhance processes and controls, elevating the quality of data and reporting accessible to the organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity with exposure to two renowned agencies within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• P&L Analysis & Month End Reporting: Assist the FD/CFO in month-end actuals and forecasting.
• Balance Sheet Analysis & Resolutions: Manage AP, AR, and WIP, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
• Cost Controls: Analyse ledgers, engage with budget holders, and enhance reporting and forecasting.
• Timesheet Analysis: Maximize utilization and profitability through comprehensive analysis and reporting.
• Internal Controls: Support SBOX & KPMG audits, and oversee MediaOcean approvals.
• Cashflow & FX Management: Efficiently manage cashflow and mitigate FX risks.
• Tax Submissions: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
• Intercompany Recharges: Handle annual shared cost calculations, monthly payroll recharges, and forecasting.
• Payroll Support: Assist in payroll review, approval, and forecasting.
• Shared Service Oversight: Review and maintain strong relationships with shared service providers.
• Billing Management: Ensure timely and accurate billing practices.
• Production Management: Oversee productions from start to finish, ensuring adherence to payment schedules.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent German Speaking Essential
• Advertising/Media Experience: Desirable background in the industry.
• Financial Communication: Ability to produce complex financial data / insights for diverse internal stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, advanced Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new processes and technologies.
