Main Duties
As the Global Operational Financial Accountant at Chart, your primary responsibility is to support the financial forecasting, planning, and analysis (FP&A) as well as operational finance controlling processes. You will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategy, leading process improvement initiatives, participating in ad hoc projects, and contributing to the overall responsibilities of the Chart Finance Organization.
Specifically you will:
- Manage global consolidated management reporting processes, providing proactive, in-depth insight and analysis. This includes monthly results to the corporate team, weekly and quarterly forecasts, and support for annual budget and strategic planning processes.
- Support senior management in executing business development, strategy, and results. This involves managing FP&A processes, providing ad-hoc reports, insights, and analysis, as well as coordinating assigned projects with a wide range of commercial and operational experiences.
- Partner with regional divisions and other global functions to ensure standard reporting and analysis across the business. Build partnerships with stakeholders, understand their goals, and leverage the expertise of the Chart finance organization to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Support Chart finance function in various areas, including external reporting processes, fostering a positive culture, integration activities for new acquisitions, and initiatives to enhance financial reporting capability within the Shared Service Centre (SSC).
