We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Learning and Development Officer in the new Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) at Southampton City Council. In this role, you will oversee the Learning and Development activities of the HDRC.
Working with the HDRC Team and Organisational and Development colleagues, you will identify staff Learning and Development (L&D) needs and assets, in relation to finding, accessing, reviewing, undertaking and using research evidence. You will help identify and provide appropriate L&D opportunities for staff and elected councillors to support the use of research evidence in tackling health inequalities in the city.
With an L&D Qualification (Level 4 or above), or equivalent experience, you will have knowledge and experience of designing and delivering L&D services. You will be a good communicator and have the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of people.
