Head Of Finance

Reed Finance are pleased to be partnering with a successful SME business who are seeking a brand new Head of Finance due to strong business growth and ambition. The business is seeking to bring in a new senior finance leader to partner with Director level and manage a small accounts team, providing technical, financial, and commercial support to the business..

A few key responsibilities include:

Prepare financial statements with commentaries drawn up to Management for review and decision making.

Monitor budgetary control.

Manage all transactional finance.

Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers.

Preparation of Management Accounts.

Forecasting, budgeting, cash flow analysis with review and commentary.

Regular liaison with firm of accountants regarding audit, year end and production of relevant financial statements.

Production of all necessary MI for Director review.

Streamline all controls and play an integral part of new system migration.

A few requirements in order to be considered:

Fully qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

Relevant senior finance experience preferably within an SME environment.

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

Proven experience managing and developing teams.
