Head Of Finance

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to work out in Loughton.

Full time office based

• To ensure that the business remains competitive through professional and controlled management of the costings and cash flow.
• Attend Heads of Department meetings.
• Support the FD and act as delegate during leaves of absence.
• Support the FM Director in producing accurate month end reports and other financial reporting.
• Measure FM performance as a separate business unit and ensure fair inter-department charges.
• Leading and developing a team Of Finance professionals.
• Set realistic timetables for month end and manage achievement of deadlines.
• Record and develop Finance procedures and policies.
• Develop and maintain risk register.
• Prepare business cases for company projects inclu. profit analysis, cash flow impact/proposals.
• Support the FD in understanding job cost reports and trading reviews.
• Support FD in understanding job estimates and estimating processes.
• Review, understand and approve cost adjustment from Commercial Director.
• Prepare management accounts and produce monthly financial reports.
• Explain key monthly variances and help leadership team manage and control costs.
