We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Principal to fulfil a permanent, full time position from September 2024.

The school is a large Secondary Academy based within the outskirts of Central Southampton, and is part of a large Multi-Academy Trust; the second largest in England. They are an energetic and inspiring Academy, supported by a team of passionate, dedicated, and high-achieving professionals. The school are currently in a position where the newly appointed Principal will have the exciting opportunity for their next leadership role, opening up the ability to make a positive impact on the students, staff and school as a whole. The school are currently on a journey to success and are in need of an innovative leader, who will be at the heart of the development and delivery of an increasingly improving academy.

As the Principal, you will be a dedicated and passionate leader with a proven track record in senior leadership,  bringing clarity of purpose and high expectations for all. Within the academy, your profile is prominent, and you will advocate for the school ethos, while also supporting and developing your leadership team. Empowering staff members is your mission, and as Principal, you approach your role with passion, pace, clarity, and unwavering determination, driving the academy forward.

The salary for this role is currently set at L18 – L24 (£71,729 to £83,081 approximately), plus Teacher Pension Scheme.
