HR Administrator (Temporary)
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Duration: 1 month (with the option to extend)
Role Overview:
As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include managing HR records, assisting with recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This is a temporary position, but there is potential for it to become permanent based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, absence records, and personal details.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Recruitment Support:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and coordinating reference checks.
- Liaise with hiring managers and candidates to facilitate a smooth recruitment experience.
DBS Checks:
- Coordinate disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for new employees.
- If you do not currently have a DBS certificate, we can assist you in obtaining one before your start date.
General Administrative Tasks:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, such as inputting data and verifying timesheets.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS or HRMS) is advantageous.
Skills:
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
While formal qualifications are not mandatory, relevant experience and a willingness to learn are essential.
