Avocet Commercial is delighted to be working with one of the South West s most successful businesses in their field as they seek to recruit a confident, enthusiastic HR Advisor to join their highly skilled HR team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be integral in implementing the company s group HR and People strategy. Based in their busy Exeter office, you will proactively take responsibility for delivering impeccable HR services across the business.
Duties include
- Providing and delivering expert advice on all company HR policies and processes
- Working closely with management and department head to accurately plan and resource for company growth
- Design and deliver engaging training programs to develop existing employees skillsets
- Carrying out performance management reviews and appraisals
- Working with and providing HR support for all management and employee relation issues.
The successful HR Advisor will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes
- Previous experience working as a HR Professional
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or working toward your CIPD would be advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent employment law and best practice knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to work effectively and support your team within a fast-paced environment
Salary/ Benefits
- Starting salary up to GBP34,000
- Company bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday
- Office based Monday Friday 08 00 or 08 30 with a 1 hour lunch break.
