Your new roleAs the HR Advisor, you will support the HR Business Partner in all aspects of HR and support the Senior Management Team in the delivery of organisational HR objectives. You will also be the key contact in the absence of the HR Business Partner, with the aid of the HR Business Manager responsible for the division. You will be a central point of contact to provide a full range of HR guidance and support to department managers and employees across the Company. You will also support the administration and coordination of a range of HR systems. Other responsibilities will include:
Employee Lifecycle: Preparing job descriptions, issuing offers of employment and contractual terms including the pre-boarding process, presenting and reviewing the Company Induction process, processing leavers.Employee Relations: Supporting managers in the employee relations process by coaching and developing their capabilities in (not limited to) disciplinary, grievances, and performance.Absence Management: Managing casework relating to sickness absence, providing advice and support to managers, monitoring absence, attending case review and capability meetings, liaising with Occupational Health and medical professionals.Organisational design: Support the HR team in restructures, TUPE's and redundancies in line with employment legislation.Employee Engagement: Lead on the employee engagement survey, ensuring feedback and results are shared and actioned.Reporting: Producing HR metrics to provide detailed insights into the business, including employee retention, recruitment, turnover and producing solutions and trends for the relevant business.Projects: Support the HR team in developing key projects to support business needs.Maintaining people's data: Ensuring consistency in the HR system. Running audit reports to highlight and cleanse any data errors.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this job, you will need:
Ability to build credible working relationships with key stakeholders.Attention to detail with clear and simple communication skills, both verbally and writtenResults focussed and ability to translate these into actions and solutions.The ability to prioritise workload and take on multiple HR activities.A good understanding of employment legislation and how to apply this pragmatically.A positive can do and hands-on approach.Proficient in MS Office applications.Experience as an HR Advisor or similar capacityCIPD qualification (or studying towards)Able to maintain a professional stance and appreciate confidentiality.The ability to work well within a team.What you'll get in return
