Hr Advisor (Part Time)

We are looking for an experiencedHR Advisor to join a fab employer based in the West Sussex area. The HR Advisor – HR Generalist will be working within their busy HR team. This is a fixed term contract, Part timeHR Advisor job opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, supporting the HR function in providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice

Salary: up to GBP38K full time equivalent (pro rata – Part time up to GBP30,400 + excellent benefits)

Hours:Part time 21–28 hours per week over 3–4 days

Duration: 14 month fixed term contract – start in August 2024

Location: Hybrid working – East Grinstead, West Sussex

HR duties include:

• Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues
• Ensure accurate records of staff absence and approved leave are maintained
• Make sure all HR related policies are regularly reviewed
• Assist with the new starter process including collating new employee files, sending offer packs, issuing of contracts, following up relevant administration etc.
• Provide generalist experience across a range of HR issues leading to the design and implementation of solutions
• Assist the HR administrators with ensuring the SAP system is kept up–to–date and that accurate electronic personnel files are maintained for the network and information is relevant.
• Support Managers and employees in all aspects of employee welfare, performance, development and progression
• Assist the HR Manager with induction and training events

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience working in a similar HR Advisor, HR Generalist, varied HR role
• Ideally be CIPD Level 5
• Previous HR experience in a generalist capacity, including recruitment, ER, grievance and disciplinaries
• Good IT skills – Google, Word, Excel and will ideally have the knowledge of SAP and G–Suite
