The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. The National Theatre is in an exciting period of transition in our People Department. At the heart of this is our People System. This role will be the department lead on proposing, creating, testing, and implementing new functionality for this system. A key aspect of this role in moving the system requirements from its implementation phase to business as usual is working on the configuration of the modules that make up the NT People system.
This role will also be responsible for manging the People systems, technical queries and user support. You will support employees in logging into and navigating the system for all their individual needs, and be responsible for monitoring the system inbox, providing a high level of customer service.
The role will support the people team in creating reports using the data in the people system. This could be ad-hoc as required, or as part of regular reporting e.g. diversity tracking.
Your People experience and training will be used in discussions about future policy and processes as required.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience in managing all aspects of systems administration including user access and permission levels.
- Experience in using and configuring current day People systems and processes.
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting issues raised and working with system suppliers to resolution when required.
- Experience of User Acceptance testing of new releases and updates to the People systems.
- Experience leading and/or contributing to a People system project’s, from conception to implementation and driving service improvement through systems and processes.
- Experience and confidence dealing with IT departments, systems and external system providers and consultants.
- HR/ People Advisor experience in a team supporting the full employee life cycle - including recruitment and performance management.
