A leading independent marketing services business that provides sophisticated marketing collateral and print fulfilment services to organisations and leading brands across the UK is looking for an HR Assistant to join their team in Huntington on a part-time basis.

About the Role
As an HR Assistant, you will provide outstanding customer service across the company by delivering and supporting colleagues with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity. The successful candidate must have previous HR experience. You will join a small team responsible for the employee life cycle. This is a fast-paced environment, so you will need the ability to think on your feet.
The hours of work are 25 hours per week, ideally worked Monday to Friday 5 hours a day within office hours. This is an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the HR Advisor running the department with the day-to-day tasks
- Recruitment, assisting the preparation of the monthly payroll, starters and leavers, contractual changes, entering sickness, overtime, and holidays onto their holiday booking system
- Maintaining employee records, both electronic and paper, and filing
- You will also offer advice and guidance to employees and managers on a range of matters
- You will also take responsibility for undertaking research into HR-related issues
Required Skills:
- Be dynamic and approachable
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Have good IT skills, including Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Having CIPD Level 3 or working towards is desirable but not essential
- Have previously worked in an HR administration role
- Be able to deal with sensitive information, maintaining the strictest confidentiality at all times
- Have the ability to multi-task and handle various responsibilities at one time
- Have strong people skills
- Have strong attention to detail and be able to follow internal processes/procedure with accuracy
