Hr Assistant

MAK Jobs are recruiting HR Assistant on behalf of our client.
Location: Hinckley
Salary: up to £35,000 ( depending on experience)
Shift: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30
You will be reporting to the Managing Director , responsible for performance reviews and monitoring performance. Maintenance of employee records and enforcing any company procedures. Assistance with recruitment, conducting any exit interviews, disciplinary and guidance.
About you:
* Confident communicator at all levels
* Organised and ability to adapt to company requirements
* Ability to conduct formal meetings confidently
* Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality standards
* Professional HR qualifications (CIPD or equivalent)
* Excellent understanding of GDPR legislation
* Experience using Sage Payroll would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all employee records are kept and are maintained to GDPR legislation
* Provide guidance to the management team on HR issues and advise best practice approach
* Sourcing and reviewing training providers; maintaining training log
* Support Managers through the recruitment
* Monitor the absence and KPI’s
* General HR duties including note taking, scanning and filing as required
* Support the payroll process
* With the support of the management team, take ownership of the Investors in People accreditation
