This role will do our basics brilliantly. Highlights include: Being the first point of contact for the HR Advisory Team providing advice and guidance to all Trust managers and staff on professional HR matters, employment law and best practice in accordance with HR policies and processes, national agreements and employment legislation,e.g. terms and conditions of service and employee relations. Advising managerswithtrust policies and procedures and be involved with informal case management including absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance.
Supporting the Trusts redeployment process. Comprehensive inbox management and filing, including emails which have been actioned or are pending. Assessing situations, identify and resolve potential problems within own skill set and using HR policies. Refer and seek guidance on issues outside of post holders level of competency or authority, to the HR Advisory Team.
This job description describes the role that an apprentice will be working towards during the training period. Supervision and support (direct and indirect) will be provided or available to you during all tasks, with progression being dependant on the completion of set objectives throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. This will enable the apprentice to work within the organisation to gain confidence, experience and build a portfolio of evidence for apprenticeship accreditation.
