An opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to join their team in Birmingham and support their growing human resources needs. The role will be 4 days in the office and one day at home.
The HR Assistant will report directly to the HR Manager and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the human resources function. This role will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with full-cycle recruitment, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference check
- Supporting onboarding processes for new hires, preparing documentation and ensuring a smooth transition
- Maintaining accurate employee records and data in HRIS systems
- Assisting with employee relations matters, including policy implementation and compliance
- Coordinating training and development programs
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience in an HR assistant or administrative support role with an HR degree or CIPD
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
