We are delighted to be recruiting a HR Assistant to join a busy people team.
You will assist the People Team in providing an exemplary colleague service to all stakeholders, which is fully mindful of current and future business challenges and associated colleague requirements, proactively identifying opportunities where the colleague team can add value and be involved in key people projects. Actively promoting the People Team at all times, through effective and professional delivery of colleague operational/project support.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional first-class service to all colleagues’ service customers, whether they are potential or existing colleagues.
- Maintain the People Teams shared inboxes and responding to customer queries, transactions requests effectively within SLAs set.
- Maintain the issues and update the issues-log/activity tracker to maintain colleagues’ service value-added data.
- Taking an active role in change projects allocated by your manager to support delivery of the colleagues’ agenda which will collaboratively shape the future of the organisation as we continue to improve the function.
- Provide support to the colleague ops manager as and when required, and wider people team.
- Providing advice to managers and key stakeholders on colleague related principles.
- Deliver colleague-related training sessions and onboarding sessions to share knowledge on colleague topics, refreshing the content when needed so it continues to be engaging and relevant.
- Able to maintain the MyHR system, producing reports with analysis for management as requested, therefore experience of Iris Cascade HR is desirable.
- Work with the colleagues’ team to ensure all leavers processes are completed within the system.
- Ensure all colleagues’ files are reflective of any data cleanse and in line with GDPR compliance requirement.
- Work with the colleagues’ team to develop and enhance MI, reports, and dashboards, providing all management information reports in a professional consistent format.
- Administering the employee benefit and incentive schemes as appropriate.
- Align with teams and management to ensure values are lived, champion a positive culture to enhance the business goals of being a great place to work, escalating all feedback from employees and acting on it to impact positive change.
- Holding focus groups where appropriate building trust with our employees and great relationships.
