Pay up to £29,120.00 per year depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and possess excellent communication and administrative skills. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.
Taylor Care is a family run care company, based in Fakenham Norfolk.
We are recruiting for an HR personnel to join our Head Office in Fakenham. Main duties will include:
- Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts.
- Uploading records to our system
- Assisting with induction process.
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department eg Norfolk County Council and CQC
- Ensuring staff training is up to date
- Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
- Minuting formal and informal meetings
- Entering employee data into computer database
- Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Assisting with staff development, performance improvement plans and quarterly reviews
- Sickness/ absence reporting, completing return to work meetings
- Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Assist with the application of HR policies and procedures.
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience with supporting HR processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications
Desirable skills and experience:
- Good knowledge of employment law
- Experience working in the care sector
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent qualifications
