The People and Culture Team has a significant part to play in our journey and we are looking for a HR Business Partner to work collaboratively as a member of the relevant business leadership teams.
You ll help provide HR expertise in order to improve individual and business performance through providing a strong pre-emptive and responsive Business Partnering service and the development and implementation of people plans, projects and initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Deliver a comprehensive HRBP service across designated business areas aligned to our HRBP framework and in line with the corporate strategy and values and behaviours.
Development and implementation of functional People Plans for your designated business areas.
Provide advice to managers on transformational change management initiatives and provide support, advice and guidance on all aspects of the colleague life cycle.
Provide managers with case management advice and guidance (disciplinary and grievance, capability, performance, attendance etc) and make recommendations to ensure best practice and people issues are effectively managed.
To ensure all people policies are regularly monitored, reviewed and updated in accordance with legislative changes and culture, values and behaviours of the organisation and training is delivered to people managers on these changes.
Critical knowledge, skills and experience required
Member CIPD status
Demonstrable Business Partnering skills and experience of developing people plans
Substantial experience in all aspects of employee relations
Good knowledge of employment law
Experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders
Coaching and mentoring skills
Experience of reward and recognition, employee engagement, TUPE, pensions and successful change management
Advanced technical skills - an advanced user of HR, Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office products (in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel
