HR Business Partner
Milton Keynes - hybrid
Maternity cover - Up to 12 months.
Up to £53,000 plus excellent benefits.
Our client is a global manufacturing brand and they're looking for a CIPD qualified HR Business Partner to cover a maternity contract for up to 12 months. This is a hybrid role, you'll work from their MK office three days a week, and the remaining 2 days will be home working.

As a HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the business leaders to shape and deliver their people plans. Combining commercial acumen with your HR expertise, you will become a trusted partner to your assigned divisional management teams, helping them to drive performance and engagement in their business areas.
You will guide, coach, advise and influence them, empowering them to develop and lead high performing teams. You will work closely with them and will embed yourself in the divisions you partner with, so that you can proactively anticipate their people needs.
As HR Business Partner, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with assigned divisions, developing strong working relationships with people managers and employees.
- Coach and develop people managers.
- Provide your expert guidance and input on OD&D activities, including talent development and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for assigned divisions, managing external providers and developing and delivering in-house training, as required.
- An ambassador for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion within the business, you will help to ensure strong DE&I practices are rooted in everything they do.
- Manage the Talent Attraction & Onboarding process for assigned divisions.
- Manage any employee relations matters within your assigned divisions, including complex issues.
- In conjunction with people managers, help drive employee engagement.
- Act as GDPR Champion within the HR Department
- Lead on HR projects
Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience in both operational and strategic HR
- Experience in a true HR Business Partnering role
- You love keeping up to date with developments in employment law and best practices
- Able to build relationships quickly, gaining trust and credibility through your honesty and pragmatism
- Able to communicate confidently with a variety of different stakeholders, challenging appropriately when needed
- Experience of supplier management, particularly recruitment agencies
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
