The opportunity
To provide support to a number of HR managers, in a professional and driven matter on a day to day basis. Specifically in relation to serious employment issues, at all times taking into account the commercial constraints and legal framework.
Offering counsel and direction to managers concerning intricate personnel issues, emphasizing optimal outcomes for both the organization and the employee. Particularly to matters of conduct issues, employee capabilities, concerns and encompassing the supervision of suspensions and investigations.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Actively engage as a vital member of the HR team, fostering effective collaboration and developing strong working relationships with broader stakeholders.
- Efficiently oversee a portfolio of cases, arranging and prioritizing activities based on individual case needs and relevant deadlines
- Uphold high employment standards by providing clear advice and guidance aligned with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Apply a practical approach in proposing solutions to managers, considering legal and regulatory requirements.
- Operate independently, utilizing personal initiative in delegated work areas, seeking guidance from senior colleagues when needed.
- Ensure accurate recording of case details in the Case Management System, proactively managing cases to conclusion, and ensuring the personnel database reflects accurate information.
- Collaborate with fellow Case Manager colleagues to maintain consistency in approach and application of precedents.
- Meet or exceed all applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Experience in HR Advisory role
- Proven experience in managing a range of HR cases
- Comprehensive working knowledge of UK employment law and legislations
- UK Driving Licence.
It s great if you also have the following
- CIPD Qualified.
- Degree in HR Management.
