Role Overview: We are actively seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join an esteemed law firm based in Cheltenham and London on an interim basis. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:- Credit Control: Handle credit control activities, including chasing outstanding invoices, monitoring payment terms, and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, legal teams, and other internal departments to address billing queries and payment issues.
- Legal Sector Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of legal processes and industry-specific credit control practices to manage accounts effectively.
- Debt Recovery: Implement effective debt recovery strategies while maintaining professional relationships with clients.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow, and credit risk assessment.
- Experience: Credit control experience within the Legal Sector.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in tracking financial transactions and ensuring accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
