International Political Analyst

Pall Mall Communications is looking for a new permanent member of staff. The successful candidate will need a good understanding of global economics and politics, an ability to present information and ideas clearly and concisely, and the ability to conduct online research.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting the team with the delivery of tasks for clients
• Monitoring and evaluating media coverage to help inform our work
• Researching and contributing to reports and other written work
• Writing reports on events
• Editing and formatting reports for clients (some out of hours work may be required)
• Technical support where needed (liaising with outside specialists if need be.)

There is the possibility for progression within the company.

Skills/attributes:

Essential

• Excellent written comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to write concise reports about complex topics
• Strong research skills and an ability to balance and prioritise tasks
• Ability to organise Word and PowerPoint documents at speed and present information

Preferable

• The company gives its staff a lot of autonomy: so prior work experience would be beneficial.
• In addition, an applicant would be more favoured if they bring any of the following:
• Knowledge of the Middle East region
• Experience with coding and/or AI
• Excellent written Arabic
• Graphic design

Interview/Start Dates

Tests and interviews will be on a rolling basis, and we may choose to hire someone before the closing date.

The preferred start date will be July.
