The Role:
A reputable, international interior design studio is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join them on a temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. With several offices around the globe, you would be based at their HQ in London and be the sole IT professional for around 150 employees.
Our client requires someone to join them on a minimum of 3 weeks to cover their current IT Support Specialist, however there is a high chance this could become a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role and ideally have familiarity with architecture software. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a highly praised design studio in a bustling area of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive global IT support for diverse issues, both on-site and remotely
- Employ advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and other tasks in Active Directory to ensure system integrity and security
- Manage Office 365 and Exchange Online accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions with precision
- Oversee license management for specialised software applications
- Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new staff, configuring systems and providing necessary training
- Execute the installation of applications with administrative permissions
- Collaborate on various IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and implementations, contributing to ongoing system enhancement
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the architecture / design industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with Office 365, Meraki infrastructure, and Active Directory
- Basic command prompt and PowerShell skills for system tasks
- Experience with design software is admirable, including AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- Strong communication and time management skills
