Job Description
IT Support Technician will have:
- Incident Analysis and Support: Address and resolve infrastructure and end-user incidents, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Technical Support Provision: Offer comprehensive technical support to end-users & Local IT via direct interaction, phone, or email.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues pertaining to hardware, software, and networking.
- Windows Systems Expertise: Setup, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
- Complex Problem Escalation: Collaborate with the Enterprise Support team to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Latest Technology Implementation: Work with the latest technology to enhance business operation efficiency.
- System-Wide Support: Assist in the support of various business systems, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
- Service Desk Assistance: Provide support on the service desk platform, handling incidents and requests effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to provide comprehensive technology support to end-users and Local IT.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Enhance technical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and certification programs.
The Successful Applicant
The successful IT Support Technician candidate should have:
- Previous IT Support Experience: Experience in an IT Support service desk environment.
- Learning and Adaptability: A strong willingness to learn new technologies, with training provided.
- Analytically and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving and analytically capabilities.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with the following technologies: Hyper-V Hosts and Virtual Machines (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022), Windows 10/11 laptops, desktops, tablets, Android/Apple mobile devices & Office 365 environment and troubleshooting.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to New Technologies: Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Professional Communication: Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service with a helpfulness manner
