This role on offer is an IT Technician position focusing on service desk support and the assistance of managing the institutes computer facilities and software as a whole. You will also be assisting stakeholders both internally and externally which includes software support, hardware installation and maintenance. Other duties include maintaining accurate records, SIMS and data management.
The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to develop their existing skills and gain further qualifications they can use to gain industry knowledge and progress in their career. You will have background experience working in the IT industry including a level 2 qualification. As well as this you will need relevant experience working with computers and operating systems such as Windows and Apple. Although not essential, a drivers licence is highly desirable.
