I am looking for an experienced Legal secretary /Executive Assistant who is available to start work immediately and cover an ongoing temporary booking for my client who are a global health care and insurance provider. They are looking for someone to join them on a temporary contract for a minimum of 6 months, however there is an opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.
My client are based in Glasgow and offer Hybrid working, with working hours of Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, (some flexibility may be required) They are also offering an attractive hourly rate of pay of £30 -£35 per hour depending on experience. To be considered for this role you must have supported in a similar role within the legal industry.
We are looking for someone that has supported in a Legal secretary /Executive Assistant position previously and is comfortable working at senior level n a demanding role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support with the maintenance of statutory records for the companies including the register of members and directors
- Manage compliance work for a portfolio of private companies
- Responsible for all secretarial work and ensuring matters are dealt with correctly, within a timely manager, deadlines and budget constraints
- Supports review the content of annual reports and accounts from a statutory and corporate governance compliance perspective, particularly narrative and disclosures in the directors' report and corporate governance reports;
- Manage insurance companies secretarial requirements and obligations within the framework
- Liaise with external regulators and stakeholders, auditors and external counsel on a regular basis
- Manage all statutory requirements for the company structure and branch network;
- Develop and oversee the systems to ensure the companies comply with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements
- Manage and update companies and company information on the internal Blueprint system for all current companies listed above;
- Organise and prepare agendas
- Collate documentation and take minutes of board and committee meetings
- Proactively follow up on any outstanding action points from Board and Committee meetings.
- Deal with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholders;
