Legal Secretary

Talentworx, on behalf of our client, are seeking a Legal Secretary with experience in Residential Conveyancing to join a well known and reputable firm working in the Glasgow City Centre. They have a headcount of around 20 and this role would involve working directly with a Paralegal in the team. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of and an understanding of the conveyancing process, be a good communicator, be organised, have strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages and have a positive attitude.

The role will involve providing our solicitors and paralegals with secretarial and administrative support as required including ordering reports, processing mail, responding to enquiries, keeping records up to date, setting up new files, using our case management system, liaising with clients and completing all allocated tasks. This is a busy, volume centric office environment and does come with pressure. However, this creates an environment whereby people care about each other and are looked after. 

Remuneration and Details:  

• Salary - £26K-£30K + Christmas Bonus

Experience:

• Residential conveyancing practice in Scotland: 1 year (required)
