Job Title: Legal Secretary - Litigation

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm.

Location: Belfast City Centre

Salary: £28000-32000 commensurate with experience

Benefits: 20 days plus stats rising to 25 days annual leave. Employee Health Plan.Death in Service Benefit. Employer Contributed pension Scheme.

Apple Recruitment Service aredelighted to be working with a leading legal firm to appoint an experiencedLegal Secretary.

This is a full time, permanentrole and is due to continued growth within the Litigation department.

Duties include:

• File opening and closing, ensuring compliance with ISO& Lexcel standards.

• Progression of dictation from Fee Earners within directedtime frame.

• Compiling Briefs to counsel and bundles for Court.

• Primary point of contact for incoming phone calls for thedepartment, including triage and call backs.

• Supporting continued development of CMS to enablepaperless working.

• Assisting with file progression of personal injurymatters.

• Liaising with third parties, such as counsel & expertwitnesses.

• Drafting bills in digital format.

• Initial credit control procedure

• Maintaining digital files to a high standard.

• Maintaining a clear inbox.

• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks

Essential requirements:

• ·At least 3 years experience in Litigation, for plaintiff ordefendant.
• ·Effective communicator with high standard of client care.
• ·Conscientious and able to take responsibility for own work
• ·Well organised and methodical with a good attention to detail
• ·Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities whilst producingdocuments and communications to a high standard.
• ·Experience of working with a legal CMS and Microsoft Office
• ·Positive can-do attitude
