SalaryWe are currently working with a highly acquisitive organisation to recruit this great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant on a Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant you will have responsibility for providing Management Accounting and reporting and analysis, supporting stakeholders by providing insight on monthly variances.
The Role
- Prepare and post prepayments, accruals, depreciation, and amortisation.
- Ensure balance sheet working files are updated accordingly throughout the month end process.
- Take ownership of monthly management accounts and reporting packs for various companies.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, to include explanation for any adjustments required.
- Prepare the commission calculation.
- Process VAT returns.
- Create the inter-company reports.
- Review the P&L for activity performed by others and seek justification for any variances.
- Provide detailed revenue and costs variance analysis and information.
- Support with the provision of accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis.
- Ability to provide detailed excel spreadsheet modelling for analysis for cost categories.
About you
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified with 2 years Management Accounts experience gained in industry.
- Ability to challenge where appropriate to ensure continuous improvement.
- Excel skill at intermediate level or above.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility by adapting work in line with changing priorities.
- Demonstrates team workings and willingness to help others.
